So, I just found out that my childhood friend has a crippling disease. I grew up with this family, I was at their house more than I was at my own. I miss her like crazy, and it kills me to know she's in need of support and comfort right now and I haven't talked to her in at least 5 years. I'm going to try to keep in touch.
